KVMJ U8/U10 Girls Rules

FORMAT

U8: 6v6 (No Goalie)

U10: 8v8 (Including Goalie)

FIELD PLAYERS

• 2 Attack
• 2 Midfield for U8, 3 for U10
• 2 Defense

PASS RULE

U8: Minimum of 1 attempted pass in the offensive zone while maintaining

U10: Minimum of 2 attempted passes in the offensive zone.

**The pass rule may be adjusted at any time during play by mutual agreement of both Team's Head Coaches. Increasing the pass requirement does not require mutual agreement.

PENALTIES

• Officials will whistle for stoppage of play, players must pause before self-starting
• If a penalty is deemed aggressive (slash, checking, etc.), the player must sub off.
• Ball will be "HOT" on restarts following any penalty.

DRAWS

• Following each goal.
• Once a team is up by 7+ goals, possession awarded to the opposing team

OTHER NOTABLES

• No Timeouts
• Extended scrums with 3+ players can be blown dead and AP awarded
• Stick-to-body contact not allowed
• No Checking
• Any Coach, Player, or Spectator demonstrating disrespectful behavior towards Referees, other Coaches, Players or Spectators will be ejected from the event.
